CERAMIC FIBER BOARDS
Ceramic fiber boards are produced by wet forming process of ceramic fiber and binders. These boards are self-supporting with excellent stability at high temperatures, having high resistance to thermal shock, chemical attack and maintain stability at high temperatures. It can be used in refractory construction, furnace building, steel ladles and glass melting furnace.
Ceramic fiber boards are featured with high temperature stability, low thermal conductivity, consistent density, and excellent resistance against thermal shock and chemical attack. It also resists oxidation and reduction. They are available in a variety of temperature ratings, densities, thicknesses, widths and lengths, and custom vacuum formed shapes. It has many advantages like excellent insulating performance, good thermal stability, low heat storage and resistance to thermal shock.
