Foundry Coke is also known as Metallurgical Coal. It is low in ash, moisture, sulfur and phosphorus content, and its rank is usually bituminous. It is a carbon material resulting from the manufactured purification of multifarious blends of bituminous coal. Coke is made by destructive distillation of a blend of selected Bituminous coals (called Coking coal or Metallurgical coal) in special high temperature ovens in the absence of oxygen until a greater part of the volatile matter is driven off. Foundry Coke production is done in low temperatures and for long times than the blast furnace Coke. Metallurgical coal produces strong, low-density coke when it is heated in a low-oxygen environment.
APPLICATIONS:
- Iron and steel industry
- Refineries
- Smelting industry
- Alloy industry
- Cement industry
WHY CMS INDUSTRIES?
- Our Metallurgical coke is a grade of coal that can be used to produce good-quality coke.
- Coke is a good source of heat and helps to maintain the required carbon content of the metal product.
- We provide you with the best quality of lumps with loose packing type. It has Ash content up to 8 to 10 %.
- Our offered Coke is ductile in nature with high carbon content and take long time although at lower temperature with high combustion capacity.
